Welcome to ONE Future

The ONE Future Coalition is a group of more than 50 Natural Gas companies working together to voluntarily reduce methane emissions across the Natural Gas value chain to 1% (or less) by 2025. Our coalition is comprised of some of the largest Natural Gas Production, Gathering & Boosting, Processing, Transmission & Storage and Distribution companies in the U.S. and represents more than 15% of the U.S. natural gas value chain. In 2019 the coalition registered a methane intensity number of 0.334%, beating its one percent goal by 67%, demonstrating that the natural gas industry can minimize methane emissions and increase production and throughput while supplying much needed energy to the U.S. and around the globe for years to come.

Welcome to ONE Future

We are a group of natural gas companies working together to voluntarily reduce methane emissions across the natural gas supply chain. Our goal is to collectively achieve a science-based average rate of methane emissions across facilities equivalent to one percent (or less) of total natural gas production.

Our Goal Is Simple

Using uniform, EPA-Approved reporting protocols, the coalition registered a 2019 methane intensity number of 0.334%, beating its one percent goal by 67%.

The 2021 report will be published in Q4.

Natural Gas Powers America

Natural Gas Powers America

Natural gas serves 69 million homes, 5.5 million businesses – such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools and supermarkets; 185,400 factories; and 1,825 electric generating units.

Natural Gas is Local and Plentiful

Natural Gas is Local and Plentiful

The U.S. produces more natural gas than any other nation in the world, enough to meet America’s energy needs for more than 110 years.

Natural Gas is Affordable

Natural Gas is Affordable

The affordability of natural gas has led to $50 billion in savings for American households since 2015 and $121 billion in savings for American businesses, since 2009.
