January 27, 2025 – Our Nation’s Energy Future (“ONE Future”) today announced that Expand Energy has joined the coalition in its effort to reduce methane emissions across the natural gas value chain. The largest natural gas producer in the United States, Expand Energy was established in 2024 through the combination of Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Southwestern Energy Company. Expand Energy is headquartered in Oklahoma City, with a major presence in Houston as well as operations in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio. Expand Energy will report its methane intensity results under ONE Future’s production segment.
