Day 1 – What Are the Markets Saying

Mr. Caulkins is the Founder and Executive Chairman of International Environmental Standards PBC (“IES”). IES is the market leading provider of certified environmental data for differentiating oil and gas production and operations. IES combines deep technical expertise with independently verified, empirical, affordable and actionable data that markets can act on to economically reward responsible actors. The company helps its partners collect, manage, operationalize and benefit from environmental performance data. IES is the creator and leader of the TrustWell™ Responsible Sourced Gas market. Under his leadership, IES has grown from concept to market leader in less than 5 years.

Prior to founding IES, he was directly and indirectly involved in building and growing multiple companies which addressed major problems across a spectrum of industries. He worked for Bain Capital as an investment professional in their flagship North American Private Equity group, Morgan Stanley in the Mergers & Acquisitions investment banking group, and was the Founder and CEO of Nexodex.

Mr. Caulkins received a BS in Biology (Genetics) from Georgetown University, where he graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and was the valedictorian for BS recipients. He received an MBA from Stanford University. He lives with his wife and son in Texas, is an outdoor enthusiast, an avid fly-fisherman, and an aspiring (but no very accomplished) chef.
