Sean K. Willis
President and Chief Operating Officer, Tug Hill Operating

Mr. Willis joined Tug Hill in 2014 as Vice President of Engineering; he  was named President and Chief Operating Officer in September 2020 where he is responsible for managing Tug Hill’s operational, technical, and commercial activities in Appalachia. 

Prior to joining Tug Hill, Mr. Willis served in various leadership capacities in Marathon Oil’s Eagle Ford asset team from 2011 to 2014.   Prior to joining Marathon Oil, he served in various technical and leadership capacities at Hess Corporation with domestic and international responsibilities in Equatorial Guinea, Deepwater Gulf of Mexico, Algeria, Egypt, Libya, UK North Sea, and North Dakota (Bakken).  Mr. Willis earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University; he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
